YYC Noodle Festival is co-organized by Hung's Noodle Factory and Roots Collective, both committed to giving back to the community. This year, we're excited to partner with The Leftovers Foundation as our 2024 charity beneficiary.
The Leftovers Foundation works to prevent food waste by rescuing surplus food and redistributing it to those in need, reducing greenhouse gas emissions along the way.

40 Years of Hung’s Noodles
Hung’s Noodles is proud to announce 40 years of business in Winter 2023. Since its inception in 1983, Hung’s Noodles has been committed to serving the community and providing fresh, authentic noodles and wrappers for restaurants and retail.
Hung’s Noodles has grown from a small family business that started in the basement of an Uncle’s restaurant to a mid-size family owned company that manufactures their award winning products in a 6000 square foot facility. Throughout the years, Hung’s noodles has wanted to convey a relationship first mentality throughout their business practices.
For the past 40 years Hung’s has focused on serving the communities around them and building relationships with the people who love their products and have loved it for generations, moving forward Hung’s is working on bringing their business to noodle lovers and chefs across the prairies to continue fostering positive relationships and delivering an authentic culinary experience.
“In the last 10 years, our company has been able to go from a small business that kind of caters to our community and does some safe things with a broader market, to really being freed up to proudly share our culture, and talk about who we are and what we do. And you know, I sometimes feel that companies like ours are like a best kept secret.”
